Dr. Jesse Garn, PT, DPT, is a Performance Physical Therapist and Run Coach who specializes in working with runners of all levels, providing virtual services including running gait analysis to enhance performance and prevent injuries.

Originally from Syracuse, NY, Jesse was a standout runner, achieving New York State Champion status in the 1000m before attending Binghamton University. There, he became a 3-time NCAA Division I All-American in the 800m and finished 4th overall at the 2015 NCAA Championships. In 2016, Jesse competed in the 800m at the Olympic Trials, marking the peak of his collegiate career.

After graduating, Jesse ran as a sponsored athlete for Hoka and the NJNY Track Club, setting personal bests of 1:45 in the 800m and 3:57 in the mile, while anchoring the current Indoor 4x800m World Record relay team. His athletic background and personal experience with competitive running fuel his deep understanding of what it takes to reach peak performance.

His unique skill set allows him to combine his knowledge of physical therapy with his passion for running, providing a holistic approach to improving both performance and resilience for every runner he works with.

As a co-author of “More Than the Achilles’ Heel: Management of a Complex Recreational Athlete” published in Current Sports Medicine Reports, Jesse continues to contribute to the advancement of sports medicine. Outside of work, he enjoys running, hiking, and playing guitar.
